On Monday, August 14, teachers at YES Prep Public Schools’ 17th campus – YES Prep Northline — welcomed 157 sixth-grade students.
YES Prep Northline, located at 5815 Airline Drive in north Houston, was transformed from a hospital built in 1953 into a school in less than six months. The Northline campus will help fill a growing need in Houston for more YES Prep classrooms and will ultimately serve students from grades six through 12.
The Education Trust released a case study on YES Prep Southwest and Alhambra High School in Los Angeles County, which highlights the schools' exemplary track records of creating access and ensuring success on exams for low-income students.
On May 17, 807 seniors walked across the stage to announce their college decisions. Thanks to the hard work of these students, their teachers, administrators, and families, seniors received 3,907 acceptances. Relive the spirit and excitement of that incredible day!
