iBlazer Studios is a student run, video editing business that runs inside the walls of YES North Central. Craig Brandenburg, the Director of iBlazer Studios and a teacher at YES North Central has worked hard to create a program that provides students the opportunity to create and edit videos and digital photos. In its 3 year history, iBlazer Studios has raised over $30,000 doing videos for Promark Drum Company, Teach For America, AIG Valic, Texas Education Agency and other YES schools. Trapdoor YES Prep North Central is proud to introduce the the new Trapdoor Performing Arts Company that was started in the fall of 2007. The company has performed dance-theater for YES NC and the greater community, and recently put on a one act play entitled School Dance. On May 3rd, 2008, Trapdoor will perform its final production of the year entitled The Short Attention Span Theatre. We would like to invite all YES campuses to attend free of charge.
