Student Support Services

At YES Prep, we are committed to working with families to make sure all of our students and their families are getting the support they need. We look to parents and caregivers to guide our student support and we seek their collaboration in working through the challenges families and students may face during their time at YES Prep.

Each YES Prep campus has Student Support Counselors (SSC) whose primary role is to ensure all students are getting the social, emotional, and/or mental health support they need to be successful. Our SSC’s also work closely with teachers, special education staff, and college counselors to make sure appropriate academic supports are in place for our students, when necessary.
Student Support Counselors can provide or help facilitate support for any of the following:
Mental health concerns
Relational Aggression or bullying
Family or home life concerns
Behavioral concerns
Academic struggles
Financial hardship
Homelessness
Teen pregnancy
Truancy
