Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, all Texas districts and campuses were labeled Not Rated: Declared State of Disaster for 2021, and no performance ratings were issued for the 2020-2021 school year. All districts and campuses will maintain their performance ratings from the 2018-2019 school year.
Hard copies and appropriate translation (written or oral) of the School Report Cards and Federal Report Cards will be available upon request.
Texas provides annual academic accountability ratings to its public school districts, charters and schools. The ratings are based largely on performance on state standardized tests, graduation rates, and postsecondary readiness. The ratings examine student achievement, school progress, and efforts to close achievement gaps among various student groups.
TEA accredits public schools in Texas at the district level for grades K-12.
Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, TEA will not issue A–F accountability ratings for the 2020–2021 or 2021-2022 school years (see TEA correspondence below). Accreditation status assignments will be suspended until the 2022-2023 school year. The most recent accreditation status assigned to YES Prep was for the 2019-2020 school year.
