System-wide Events

Throughout the year, YES Prep Public Schools hosts a variety of events for our students and parents, donors and supporters, as well as teachers and staff.  

Below is a list of our main annual events. For events hosted by our YES Prep campuses, please make sure to visit their webpage for information.

August

YES Prep Kickoff: Day-long celebration for teachers and staff to kickoff new school year. 

October

YES Prep College Fair: YES Prep juniors and seniors have the opportunity to visit with over 100 colleges and universities from across the nation.

IMPACT Saturday: YES Prep IMPACT partners (colleges and universities) meet with select students who qualify as IMPACT scholars. 
 
Leading Houston Forward Annual Luncheon: Annual fundraising event

YES Fest: Current and prospective YES Prep families and staff are invited to a full day of fun, food and performances.

Intersections: Spring Fine Art Showcase: YES Prep's annual secondary exhibit featuring artwork and performances from all secondary campuses.

Val+Sal Banquet: Honoring valedictorians and salutatorians 

Senior Signing Day: Seniors proudly declare their college plans in an arena filled with the entire YES Prep community.
(Senior Signing Day, also known as College Signing Day was first created by YES Prep in 2001 and is now replicated by charter schools nationwide.)
 
Commencement: Opportunity for students, teachers, families and friends to celebrate the graduation class as they earn their diploma
