UPDATE ON SENIOR 2 VIP TICKETS PICK UP (5/19/24):
Considering the recent weather impact on our communities and school closure on Friday, May 17, senior students will need to pick up their 2 VIP Tickets on Monday, May 20. If your senior will not be there on Monday, we are asking families to pick up tickets on their behalf. Seniors at Fifth Ward, Northside Secondary and Northbrook High will receive direct instructions from their school leadership regarding ticket distribution. Please await further details for specific pick up times and locations.
We are thrilled to have you join us for the momentous occasion of Senior Signing Day at the University of Houston Fertitta Center! Your presence means the world to us as we celebrate the incredible achievements of your graduating senior.
In preparation for the big day, your seniors will receive 2 VIP Tickets and a parking pass for the event from their school's Director of College Counseling. Please note, due to space constraints, each senior can register only 2 guests.
To kick off the festivities, you are invited to the Senior Signing Family Reception (AM program: 8-9:20 a.m.; PM program: 10:30 a.m. - 12:20 p.m.) at the Alumni Center.
Upon arrival, seniors and families will check in together. While seniors head off to their rehearsal, the senior's two VIP guests will be treated to a breakfast spread, photo opportunities, poster crafting, visits from community partners and a chance to snag some exclusive YES Prep SWAG!

Parking: All Seniors, Families and Guest will park in the Stadium Parking Garage (3874 Holman Street) Staff will be there to guide vehicles into the garage. Please keep in mind that parking is limited, and families should travel together to ensure a timely arrival. After parking, please make your way to the UH Alumni Center (Address: 3204 Cullen Blvd, Houston, TX 77204) for Senior Rehearsal and Family Reception.
Family Tickets: Each senior will receive 2 Family Tickets. These tickets are essential for entry into the venue. Please bring your tickets and present them at the check-in counter upon arrival. Guests without tickets will not be allowed entry, so remember to bring yours along. Seniors declaring will should arrive with their Family to continue to meet their senior class for rehearsal.
Entrance Policy: All ticketed families will be allowed to enter the venue with their ticket at the conclusion of the Family Reception. If you do not make it in time by 9:45 AM for the Morning Program or 12:45 PM for the Afternoon Program, you will not be allowed to enter the arena.
Lap Children (Babies and Toddlers) Policy: Lap children who are 36 inches and under will be allowed to enter without a separate ticket. However, please ensure that they remain seated on your lap throughout the event to avoid any disruptions. Strollers will not be allowed inside the Fertitta Center. Please note that children without tickets will regrettably not be able to gain entry to the venue. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Family Reception *required attendance*: All family members with tickets are required to attend the Family Reception as part of the event. This is an opportunity for you to connect with other families and celebrate the achievements of your seniors. Please make sure to check in with your senior and tickets upon arrival at the reception.
Check-In Process: When you arrive at the venue, please proceed to the designated check-in area. Our staff will be there to assist you with the check-in process and answer any questions you may have.
Seating Arrangements: Seating will be in designated areas. Ushers will guide families to their designated Sections and Rows. We encourage you to arrive on time to ensure you have an opportunity to take pictures with your senior at the Family Reception.
Attendee Expectations: Families and guests are expected to stay for the entirety of the program. You may not leave early or pick up any siblings that have attended the program until the program concludes.
Photography and Videography: Feel free to capture special moments throughout the event. However, please be mindful of other guests and avoid obstructing their view. Please make sure you stay in your seat at the Fertitta Center, families will not have an opportunity to leave their seating sections.
Attire: Dress comfortably and appropriately for the occasion. You may also want to consider wearing attire that represents your support for your senior, such as their school colors or merchandise. This is not a formal event, but we encourage our guests to be picture ready!
Items NOT allowed: Outside food or drink, noisemakers, helium balloons, backpacks, large bags, or metal cups (like: Stanley, Yeti, RTIC) are not permitted inside the UH Fertitta Center. Families may bring only a diaper bag and a medical bag if necessary. Please ensure all bags are CLEAR and smaller than 12 x 6 x 12 inches. Sibling Pick Up: After the program ends, please approach a YES Prep staff member in your designated section to check out any siblings who arrived with their school. To complete the checkout process, the adult listed on the permission slip must be present. Senior students are not permitted to check out siblings.
