Opportunities to Achieve More!

YES Prep Public Schools represent opportunities for your child. Opportunities for a better future. Opportunities to feel empowered. We provide opportunities for students to access a high-quality, tuition-free public education with a focus on college readiness.

At YES Prep, we know sixth grade is a significant year of transition and growth for students.

Beginning in sixth grade, each YES Prep student is not only prepared for the academic demands of college entrance exams and the admissions process, but they’re also supported through their continued journey of self-discovery and agency.

6-8 Grade

YES Prep 6th through 8th-grade students are in smaller, college-ready courses, with support and electives built into the school day. Our classroom culture allows for individual attention and student-centered instruction.

Middle school students will:

Spend 90 minutes every day in English language arts (ELA) and math
Read and add 15 books to their personal library
Have access to seven sports offered at the schools
Choose from six different electives offered
Be able to choose from three courses offered for high school credit
Receive a YES Prep-issued laptop for their coursework

9 – 12 Grade

At YES Prep, our students are held to higher academic standards than their peers in most traditional independent school districts.

Our curriculum views the state’s requirements as the floor, not the ceiling, for educational achievement, preparing students for a successful life beyond their high school graduation.

In 2022, all 10 of our qualifying YES Prep secondary schools ranked in the top 12% of best high schools in the nation in U.S. News and World Report’s 2022 rankings.
