CTE & Electives

YES Prep's secondary Electives and CTE (ECTE) program exist to provide a range of school day elective courses that allow students to express themselves creatively, develop healthy lifestyles and habits, develop transferable college and career readiness skills, and acquire technological skills related to 21st century careers. Our mission is to provide secondary course pathway options for all students through rigorous and equitable coherent sequence in courses to ensure success to and through college.  

ECTE Department Vision: We support an equitable, collaborative, creative, scholarly program to create a globally innovative education for students in an ever-changing world. Our students will think critically, solve tomorrow’s problems, and embrace artistic traditions while extending traditional core values and imparting diverse experiences and opportunities.
