2023 Summer Programming
Elementary
Elementary summer programming
Accelerated Learning
June 6 - June 21 (no programming on june 19)
Accelerated Learning is required for identified students in rising grades 2, 3, and 4. Students will be identified by their STAAR scores (Rising Grade 4) and end-of-year MAP Scores (Rising Grades 2 and 3) in Math and Reading. Please look for communication directly from your campus in early May and a final notice of student identification the week of May 30 - June 1.
Camp Chispas
June 6 - June 23 and July 10 - July 14 (NO PROGRAMMING ON JUNE 19 or June 26 - July 7 )
Camp Chispas will be offered for pre-k and kindergarten emergent bilingual students.
Core Enrichment Programming
June 6 - June 21 (NO PROGRAMMING ON JUNE 19)
Enrichment programming will be offered for rising first grade students.
Special Populations Support
June 6 - June 23 (NO PROGRAMMING ON JUNE 19)
Support programming will be offered for Secondary students in Special Education in all grades.
5th Grade Bridget Program
June 6 - June 21 (NO PROGRAMMING ON JUNE 19)
Language programming to support rising fifth grade students.

Secondary summer programming
Accelerated Learning
June 5 - June 23 (no programming on June 19)
Accelerated Learning is required for identified students who failed an Algebra I, Biology, or US History STAAR EOC assessment. Please look for communication directly from your campus in early May with details about the program on your child's campus and a final notice of student identification the week of May 31 - June 3.
Note: YES Prep Northbrook Middle School will have Accelerated Learning for middle school grades.
Credit and Attendance Recovery
May 22 - June 9
Credit Recovery is required for students for students in grades 9 - 12 who do not pass a high school credited class or need to make up attendance hours. Learn more about Credit Recovery here.
Enrichment Programming - ACE & ASPIRE
ASPIRE: June 5 - June 23 (no programming on june 19)
ACE June 5 - June 23 (no programming on june 19 OR June 26 - July 7) and july 10 - july 14
Enrichment Programming will be offered through ACE or ASPIRE for students in grades 6 - 12.
Special Populations Support
June 6 - June 23 (NO PROGRAMMING ON JUNE 19)
Support programming will be offered for Secondary students in Special Education in all grades.
STAAR EOC Testing
June 20 - June 23
STAAR EOC Testing is required for all students in grades 9 - 12 who do not pass their STAAR exam.
Northbrook
Northbrook summer programming
YES Prep Northbrook Middle and Northbrook High will conduct student programming in the month of June at Spring Branch ISD's Landrum Middle, located at 2200 Ridgecrest Drive (77055), to meet the requirements of HB4545, academic success and development over the summer.
YES Prep Northbrook at Landrum Middle
- Start date: Monday, June 5
- End date: Thursday, June 22
- Staff and students will NOT be on campus all Fridays, plus Monday, June 19 (holiday)
Program schedule
- 8:30 a.m. – 11:20 a.m. - Session 1
- 11:20 a.m. – 12 noon - Lunch
- 12 noon – 3 p.m. - Session 2

Meals
Breakfast and Lunch
YES Prep is participating in the Summer Healthy Meal Programs again this year!
Beginning Monday, June 5 at all YES Prep secondary campuses, and Tuesday, June 6 at all YES Prep elementary schools, children ages 18 and younger, and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old, can continue to eat healthy throughout the summer at no cost. The last day of the summer meals program is Friday, July 14.
The hours for summer feeding are:
Breakfast
- Elementary: 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
- Secondary: 8:20 a.m. - 8:50 a.m.
lunch
- Elementary: 10:45 a.m. - 12:25 p.m.
- Secondary: 11:40 a.m. - 12:20 p.m.
Northbrook partnership schools: Landrum Middle, where our Northbrook students will be having their summer programming, will be offering breakfast from 7:30-8 a.m. and lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Spring Branch ISD will also be offering free summer meals at different SBISD locations. For more details on those, click here.

Transportation
Transportation for summer programming
Each campus (excluding partnership campuses) will have community hubs (bus stops) throughout the campus school zone available for students to use. Families and students can decide which community hub is best fits. For information on transportation for partnership campus summer programming, please reach out to directly to that campus.
Note to Parents: Please note that the stop arrival times in the AM and PM are estimated times of arrival Please have your student at the stop ready to board the bus at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time Students should not wait in cars for the arrival of the bus except in cases of severe weather Your assistance with this policy will help to ensure our buses arrive at school on schedule.

If your student qualifies for one of these programs, you will receive a letter with more details and a QR code for registration.
