Join us in celebrating Maria Carlos, Child Nutrition Manager of Operations, for receiving the Manager of the Year award from the School Nutrition Association (SNA) for the state of Texas for the second year in a row.
Child Nutrition team wins multiple awards from the Association of School Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals
YES Prep Public Schools' Child Nutrition team continues to excel, earning multiple accolades at the Denim & Diamonds Honors Gala on June 11 in Reno, Nevada during the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals 2024 Annual Conference and Expo.
The team received the 2024 Dining Distinction Award, the 2024 Horizon Award and the prestigious Foodservice Department of the Year Award. These honors highlight their dedication to student health, innovative food service practices and exceptional teamwork.
These awards underscore the remarkable impact of YES Prep's Child Nutrition team on their students and the broader community. Congratulations to Jaimie Griffiths (Dining Distinction Award Winner), Maria Alvarado (Horizon Award Winner), and the entire team for their dedication and hard work in promoting health and nutrition!
