IMPACT College Partnership Program
Since 2006 colleges and universities across the country have partnered with YES Prep Public Schools with one goal: to recruit and enroll YES Prep Alumni with the hopes of cutting the college-access gap for students from low-income communities.
Partner institutions provide structured support programs to complement YES Prep’s college counseling curriculum and alumni support program. YES Prep purposely seeks out and secures partnerships with colleges and universities willing to meet the full demonstrated financial need of selected students.
Since the program’s inception in 2006, YES Prep has established 25 IMPACT Partnerships. Last year, more than 285 YES Prep students attended an IMPACT partner college or university. 2-out-of-3 YES Prep Alumni who attend colleges out-of-state attend college at an IMPACT Partner institution.
Looking towards the future, 450 seniors from the Class of 2020 are currently participating in IMPACT Programs.
