Response to Intervention
YES Prep's Case Management structure uses Response to Intervention (RTI) data to provide interventions to students who need additional academic, behavioral, or social-emotional supports. The Case Management team identifies, develops, and implements specific student interventions that meet the needs of each individual student. These interventions may include supports like check-ins, tutorials, peer tutoring, counseling, behavioral support, and a variety of other services available to all students.
If a student is experiencing learning and/or behavioral difficulties, the guardian may contact the school administrator to learn about YES Prep’s overall screening system for support services. Legal guardians will be notified if a student is receiving interventions.
Should the student's family or school staff suspect a need for specially designed instruction through special education services, they can refer the student for a special education evaluation at any time.
