    $1,000 certified or experienced Math Teacher.

Bilingual & Special Education Teacher
$61,000 - $78,000

  • Sign-on bonuses available for qualifying candidates.
    $1,000 Certified SPED Teachers
    $1,000 Certified Bilingual Teachers

  • Stipend available for qualifying candidates.
    $3,000 Certified SPED Teachers
    $4,000 Certified Bilingual Teachers

Teacher Incentive Allotment 
YES Prep was one of the first districts in the state of Texas to be approved for participation in The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)!  The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) provides an accessible pathway for effective teachers to earn a higher income while remaining in the classroom. This means that based on our teacher salary scale, upon their 3rd year in the role, teachers in an eligible course can earn up to:
1 year of experience: $93,000
5 years of experience: $96,000
10 years of experience: $99,000
15 years of experience: $101,500

  • Attend an information session with YES Prep
  • Prepare and study for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test
October - November 1, 2024
  • Submit an application by November 1, 2024
November 11-13, 2024
  • Participate in a one-on-one interview in English  with a principal
  • Teach a sample lesson in English   
December 16,  2023
  • Attended an information session with YES Prep Public Schools
  • Complete English as a Foreign Language Test (TOEFL)
March 21, 2024

  • Must submit TOEFL scores by March 21

June 13, 2024
  • Deadline to move to Houston, Texas 

Step 1: Attend an information session!

Step 2: Apply!
Be sure your essay question responses are thorough and thoughtful. (In English)

Upload your resume, transcripts, certifications and TOEFL scores, if available.
 

Step 3: Interview
If selected for a Finalist Interview, you will be contacted directly by the Hiring Manager to schedule the interview.

Finalist Interviews will include a portion dedicated to teaching a sample lesson. Information about the sample lesson will be provided to candidates at interview invitation.

Step 4: Onboarding
If a hiring manager is interested in offering you a position, you will receive an offer letter via email. Once an offer is accepted, you will receive instructions to begin the onboarding process.
