Every year, the YES Prep Visual Arts community hosts an art show to showcase student work on the theme of Dia de los Muertos. Typically, the celebration features music, food, dancing, laughs and great works of student art. 2020 has presented innumerable challenges, but we did not want those obstacles to stop this tradition.
This year, despite limited resources and all while working and learning from home, we had six campuses submit work for the show. The top 55 works by students from Fifth Ward, Brays Oaks, West, Northline, Southeast and Southwest have been compiled in a beautiful visual celebration of their hard work.
Please take a moment to watch and appreciate their tremendous efforts! Special thanks to Jennifer Crancer for her leadership on this project!
