YES Prep Public Schools
Chris Bertaut, Development Team

Each year, the YES Prep Brotherhood Sisterhood Summit provides a safe and welcoming space for Black/African American secondary students and staff to embrace their unique identities, make meaningful connections and become empowered to lead change in their communities.

Oseremen “Ose” Ejedawe with Comcast Texas, served as a career panelist at the summit, sharing his experience as a Black professional with nearly 250 students. Aligned with their commitment to providing digital access to our next generation of leaders, Comcast donated raffle prizes to two deserving students.

For the past three years, Comcast has supported YES Prep’s efforts to create spaces where students and staff feel safe and supported to be their best selves. In addition to their generous contributions to the BHSH Summit, Comcast has donated school supplies, gift cards and swag items to support our students on the path to college success.

This strong partnership is cemented by a shared focus on creating a world where everyone has what they need to shape the future. We are thankful for the company’s partnership and support of YES Prep and look forward to continuing our work together for years to come!
