Every year, YES Prep students bring the holiday spirit to life through their artistic talents in our annual Holiday Card Contest. This year, Mallory Adams ‘24, a senior at YES Prep Brays Oaks Secondary, stole the show with her heartwarming piece, "The Holiday Moments We Share."

But Mallory's artwork is more than just a decorative piece; it's a window into her artistic vision and a story we all share when we think of the holiday season. In a recent video interview, she shares the story behind her creation, revealing the emotions that inspired her brushstrokes:

Artist: Mallory Adams ‘24, YES Prep Brays Oaks Secondary

Artwork Name: "The Holiday Moments We Share"

Inspiration behind art: "The inspiration behind this artwork is to show that during the Christmas holiday season, there is always someone willing to appreciate the people around them by going to buy gifts in order to show their love for them."

What YES Prep means to me: "YES Prep means to me that youth are challenged academically as well as having a sense of community and making each other feel at home."

Mallory's story and her captivating art carry the spirit of the holidays into the rest of the season. And this celebration wouldn't have been possible without the unwavering support of our generous sponsors, including Trace Capital.

May your holidays be filled with vibrant colors, joyful connections and the most precious moments shared with loved ones. Happy Holidays!
