Scholarships for high school seniors
Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards
The Hispanic Heritage Foundation founded The Youth Awards scholarship to honor Latinx high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community, and for their excellence in healthcare, science, technology, media, entrepreneurship and more! This year the Hispanic Heritage Foundation will be awarding scholarships for up to $4,000 to eligible high school seniors. Applications are due Monday, November 13, 2023.

McDonald's®️ HACER®️ National Scholarship
The HACER®️ National Scholarship was established to help reduce the barriers that currently exist for Hispanic students to gain higher education. Applicants must be a high school senior with a minimum 2.8 GPA. In addition, applicants must have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage. The HACER®️ National Scholarship will open later this fall.

Scholarships for seniors & college students
Golden Door Scholars
Golden Door Scholars was founded in 2013 with the goal of promoting economic mobility for undocumented students. As a Golden Door Scholar, each student receives a scholarship empowering her or him to earn a bachelor's degree and pursue their dream career. Eligible students may be high school seniors, recent high school graduates, or currently enrolled in college pursuing an undergraduate degree. Applications are due Sunday, October 1, 2023.

Dr. Juan Andrade Jr. Scholarship for Young Hispanic Leaders
The Dr. Juan Andrade Jr. Scholarship for Young Hispanic Leaders seeks to recognize Hispanic students who share Dr. Andrade’s lifelong commitment to servant leadership. This year the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute (USHLI) will award an academic scholarship ($1,000 for a 4-year institution or $500 for a 2-year institution) for undergraduate students and a conference scholarship to attend the 40th USHLI National Conference. Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students for the Fall 2024 – Spring 2025 academic year. Eligible students may be high school seniors, college freshman, sophomores and juniors up to age 25. Applications are due Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Excelen-ΣΙΑ Academic Scholarship
SIA believes that education is an investment, and the best way to help our community is to help the ones who need it the most: our youth. That is why Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc. in conjunction with the Solidaridad, Inspiracion, y Amistad Community Foundation, Inc. is proud to award the Excelen-ΣΙΑ scholarship to help with the educational cost of college. This year, they will award one scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to an eligible student. If you are a recently graduated high school senior, you must have at least a 3.7 GPA. If you are a college freshman, you must have at least a 2.5 GPA. Applications are due Monday, July 15th, 2024.
