We are thrilled to announce that YES Prep Public Schools has been selected as one of the distinguished grantees in the inaugural cycle of the Moody Foundation’s M-Pact Fund! This significant grant will bolster YES Prep’s College Initiatives Program, furthering their mission to overcome barriers and ensure student success in higher education.

Commitment to Texas education
The M-Pact Fund, a key component of the Moody Foundation’s historic $1 billion commitment to Texas education over 20 years, aims to transform early learning and post-secondary success across the state. This inaugural cycle awarded grants to 32 exceptional organizations, creating a comprehensive network of solutions that will positively impact over 2.9 million individuals from the Rio Grande Valley to Amarillo.
YES Prep’s inclusion in this prestigious cohort underscores our significant role in driving educational equity and excellence. The M-Pact Fund not only provides financial support but also fosters a collaborative network of grantees. This network is designed to share best practices and drive student success, with an annual convening set to begin in 2025.
Collaborative network for transformational change
Courtney Rogers, Vice President of Education at the Moody Foundation, emphasized the transformative potential of this initiative: “Through the M-Pact Fund, the Foundation is supporting some of the most promising and impactful education initiatives across the state. In addition to YES Prep, the cycle one grantees include notable organizations such as Austin Public Education Foundation, Big Thought, Breakthrough Central Texas, and many more. The cycle two funding announcements are expected in September 2024, with applications for cycle three opening in Spring 2025.
