Food, Toys and Joy
HOUSTON – Celebrate the spirit of giving this holiday season with YES Prep at the “YES for the Holidays” Resource Fair on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon at YES Prep White Oak Secondary, 5620 W. Tidwell Rd., Houston, TX 77091.
The festive community event will offer essential resources to brighten the holidays for families in need. Resources include:
- Toy distribution for children ages 3–8*
- Holiday food bags
- Houston Food Bank will be on site distributing goods
- Winter activities and snacks provided by YES Prep’s Child Nutrition team
- Information and resources from local health and community partners
Items will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so early arrival is encouraged.
*Children must be present to receive toy.
“We’re thrilled to bring the community together for this special event,” Chief External Affairs Officer Isy Castillo said. “Through the generosity of our partners and the hard work of our team, we’re ensuring that every family who joins us leaves with food, toys and holiday cheer.”

YES Prep’s Student Recruitment team will also be on hand to support families interested in enrolling in YES Prep White Oak Elementary, opening in August 2025, or any other of our 23 elementary and secondary schools.
