2022 AP Summit is back in person!
Teachers of multiple courses across multiple YES Prep campuses will be working together to create AP Summit for our YES Prep high school students on Saturday, April 23 at YES Prep Hobby Secondary for our schools south of I-10, and Saturday, April 30 at YES Prep Northside Secondary for our schools north of I-10.
During AP Summit, at either the Hobby or Northside, you will have an opportunity to attend three different review sessions targeting the most important concepts from the curriculum of each course listed below: (All courses will be offered on both days unless noted otherwise.)
- AP 2-D Art and Design
- AP Calculus AB
- AP Calculus BC – only available on April 30 at Northside
- AP Statistics – only available on April 30 at Northside
- AP English Language
- AP English Literature
- AP World History
- AP US History
- AP Government
- AP Biology
- AP Environmental Science
- AP Physics 1
- AP Physics C
- AP Spanish Language
You will complete sample multiple choice and free response questions from previous AP exams, receive support and guidance from teachers and will have an opportunity to work with students from other YES Prep campuses. Take a look at the event schedule below:
- 8:30-8:45 a.m. – Registration (and swag!)
- 8:45-10 a.m. – Session #1
- 10:05-11:20 a.m. – Session #2
- 11:25 a.m. – 12:40 p.m. – Session #3
- 12:40-12:55 p.m. - Pizza
Registration to attend is required.
Before you register, please read each step to make your registration process a success!
Step 1: Join the Schoology AP Summit course using access code: QPRJ-Q27W-7J3J6 and review the 2022 AP Summit Session Descriptions. Write down your top two choices for each session (space is limited).
Step 2: Register using the following links (it should take you to the EventBrite site):
Saturday, April 23, 2022 AP Summit - The deadline to register is Thursday, April 21
Saturday, April 30, 2022 AP Summit – The deadline to register is Thursday, April 28
Please use your YES Prep email address for registration, otherwise, your registration will be void
Step 3: You will receive an email confirmation – please do NOT delete it. You will need it on the day of to ensure you go to the correct sessions you registered.
Step 4: Finalize your registration by submitting the permission slip for AP Summit. Please see your AP teacher for a permission slip and instructions on how to submit.
