YES Prep administers assessments listed below to monitor progress in students' coursework and college readiness. These assessments also furnish important information about students’ progress and help YES Prep staff better support them in their journey to college.

Demonstrate how students are currently performing on state and national standards;
Measure student growth and progress from year to year;
Identify students’ strengths and areas for additional focus so teachers can adjust instruction.
Computerized adaptive tests to measure annual growth (Spring to Spring) and/or progress in interventions

Test Date(s): Fall for incoming Grade 6 & Spring (more frequently for students in math lab or reading intervention)
Internal assessments to give feedback to students for growth and to update instruction
