The Power of YES

Since opening a single secondary campus in 1998, YES Prep Public Schools has grown to serve nearly 20,000 students across 24 campuses in Houston, with a steadfast commitment to providing students—most of whom are economically disadvantaged—with the resources, community, and support to achieve their highest potential. Building on this legacy of impact, YES Prep is launching The Power of YES, a four-year, $70 million comprehensive campaign to expand access to high-quality education by adding 5,000 new school seats. This initiative will fund the construction of six new schools, the rebuilding of three of our oldest campuses, and vital program investments to support student success.

The Power of YES continues the momentum of our Leading Houston Forward campaign, which added 10,000 new seats through the expansion of our Pre-K through 12 model. This transformative shift has led to extraordinary results: the longer students are enrolled at YES Prep, the greater their academic achievements and college readiness.
